Oksana Zhelisko winds up her Oil: Remedies for Painting Problems for the summer in June, with 3 sessions,June 13, 20, &27, 10AM-1PM. This is a drop in series for painters who need some help to improve their oil paintings. Bring your paintings, paint and other oil supplies as well as your painting quandaries, queries, & questions to Oksana! $30/session.
Cam Wilson invites you to Build a Building with Pen & Ink. If you’d like to learn to do architectural drawing that uses some perspective within a freehand style, this is the class to take. Join Jolie Bird for a two-day class that explores the myriad ways the Japanese dyeing technique called shiborican be used to create wonderful patterns on fabric. You will be working with indigo, an ancient, amazing dye whose blue colour ranges from very pale to very deep. - Book Arts: An Easy-to-Make Pamphlet Book, Shelly Banks’s third class in this short series, is a quick introduction to working with various kinds of paper to create a book that is just the right size for purse, pocket or car and make a charming gift as well.
