Call to Canadian Artists, Milner Library Public Art Project (RFQ)
The Milner Library public art competition, open to professional artists residing in Canada, is held in accordance with the City of Edmonton policy “Percent for Art to Provide and Encourage Art in Public Areas” (C458C).
The Edmonton Arts Council, on behalf of the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Public Library, is seeking a Canadian artist or artist team to create an artwork to be installed on the interior atrium wall of the Stanley A. Milner Library.
Artwork mediums can include, but are not limited to, murals, bas relief, sculpture, and mosaic. Artworks can use a portion of, or the entire wall of the atrium.
$280,000.00 CAD (maximum, all inclusive)
