Maisons Daura Maison des arts Georges Pompidou

The residency program is open to artists from every field of art. They must have had either advanced training or a commensurate professional experience in art. The spring period (3 months) is opened to collaborative groups with the goal of presenting a coherent project for the Contemporary Art Trail in the Lot Valley at the end of their residency.

The autumn residencies (6 weeks) are intended to help young artists who have completed their training curriculum within the last 5 years.
Selected candidates will be welcomed at Maisons Daura over the next two years.

Admission requirements: 

The deadline for applications is September 15th each year, and may be sent by both post and email. All applications must be printed on paper along with a .pdf version burned on a CD/DVD. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The selection will be made from submitted applications the following October.

The village of Saint-Cirq is situated in the Lot valley between Figeac and Cahors. There is a newsagent and tobacconist with bread deliveries (only in the summer period) on the village square. The nearest supermarket is 20 km away in Cajarc; there are shops with materials, tools and equipment and hypermarkets in Cahors and Figeac. Artist’s materials shop in Toulouse.
